Use of the herbal tea Smilax officinalis
Smilax officinalis is a perennial climbing plant, traditionally used in Central America. It may help cleanse* the body and ensure proper excretion**. It contains saponins, phytosterols (β-sitosterol), glycosides, calcium, copper, iron, iodine, manganese, potassium, silica, sodium, sulphur, vitamins B-complex, C and D and provitamin A.

Active ingredients
Dried and shredded root of the sarsaparilla plant (Smilax officinalis).
Preparation and Suggested Use
Drop 1 teaspoon of sarsaparilla into 1 litre of boiling water; boil for 3 minutes and strain.
Drink 1 litre of the infusion in small cups over the course of the day but not after 17.00 h. (5pm). Drink for the period of one month at least. Do not exceed recommended daily dose!
WARNINGS
Do not take during pregnancy and nursing. Keep out of the reach of children.
